Csp initiatives - Supporting Municipalities in Improving Social Inclusion Through Employment of Vulnerable and Marginalized

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to greater social inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized in the 34 municipalities from the third and fourth group of development level (Novi Pazar, Ivanjica, Nova Varoš, Priboj, Prijepolje, Raška, Sjenica, Tutin, Prokuplje, Blace, Žitorađa, Kuršumlija, Leskovac, Bojnik, Vlasotince, Lebane, Medveđa, Crna Trava, Vranje, Bosilegrad, Bujanovac, Vladičin Han, Preševo, Surdulica, Trgovište, Brus, Aleksinac, Gadžin Han, Doljevac, Merošina, Svrljig, Babušnica, Bela Palanka, Knjaževac), thus incrementing social cohesion of communities in the said area. Specific objectives of the intervention are to increase capacities of local self-governments and other statutory actors in assessing needs of vulnerable and marginalized, developing and implementing relevant evidence-based local policies and activities, and to develop and pilot innovative models for employment of vulnerable and marginalized. This project is implemented by the Center for Social Policy, in cooperation with Educational Centre from Leskovac and Policy Research Center from Belgrade.
