Milica Stranjaković is working on issues of social inclusion, poverty reduction, and social policy development at the local level. The focus of her professional interests is also on supporting social protection service development in local communities. She is a graduate engineer of landscape architecture, engaging in the field of social policy since 1998, through work in national and international non-government organizations. She also worked as a professional journalist, engaged by Newsweek International from 1996 to 1998.

She has been with the Center for Social Policy (CSP) since early 2014. During the period from 2004 through the end of 2013 she worked as part of the social policy team at the Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies (CLDS). She was advisor to the Minister for Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia from 2001 to 2004.

She is the author and co-author of the publications “NGOs as Social Protection Service Providers” (2008); “Public Advocacy Model for the Development of Social Protection Services at the Local Level” (2010); “Mapping Social Protection Services under the Mandate of Local Self-Governments” (2013).

The focus of her professional interests is on the following areas: social inclusion, social policy, poverty reduction, social protection services at the local level and the civil sector as a social protection service provider.
